The Office of Military & Veterans Services at 魅影直播 has received a renewal of its Collegiate Purple Star designation from the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The Purple Star Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation鈥檚 military.

SSU is an excellent choice for military veterans due to its small class sizes which allow faculty to better understand the needs of veteran students.
The university also has an active student veteran club, counseling tailored to the needs of military veterans, and a dynamic Office of Military and Veteran Services office that supports students as they adjust to college-level academic work.

Spotlight: David Lopez
David Lopez, a 2025 sophomore at Shawnee State, and President of the SSU Student Veterans of America (SVA) Chapter, was accepted and attended a highly coveted experience during the SVA Leadership Institute in October at the nation鈥檚 capital.

The Ohio National Guard Scholarship covers all tuition and general fees.听听
Dependent Benefits 鈥 Chapter 35 (DEA)听
Tuition assistance is provided for dependents of veterans. Full tuition is also provided to dependents through The Ohio War Orphans Scholarship.听
Post 9/11 GI Bill听庐 鈥 Chapter 33听
Covers up to 100% of all tuition, general fees and course fees and includes a book stipend. Offered to veterans and can be transferred to dependents.听
