In response to the community鈥檚 need for childcare options, the Community Action Organization of Scioto County (CAO) is developing the CAO Creative Cubs Academy and has been working with 魅影直播 to transfer the Children鈥檚 Learning Center operation to this new childcare center.
鈥淐ommunity Action has experience in early childhood education, social services, workforce development, and much more,鈥 CAO Executive Director Steve Sturgill said. 鈥淭his new venture combines elements of our current work so people can provide for their families knowing that their children are safe. We鈥檒l be serving families and changing the lives of the next generation in ways we have for 60 years.鈥
The new CAO Creative Cubs Academy is targeted to begin operations August 25, 2025 and has arranged to lease the former CLC building from 魅影直播 for a nominal fee through its first year.
鈥淲e are thrilled that Community Action will be able to continue to serve families who relied on the Children鈥檚 Learning Center for childcare,鈥 SSU President Eric Braun said. 鈥淐AO provides tremendous resources and services for our community, and this is another example. We support them in this new endeavor and look forward to working with them through the transition of the operation.鈥
